Privacy Policy

The short version

Your progress lives in your browser, not on our servers. Your chat messages are sent to an AI provider to generate replies and scores, and basic anonymous analytics tell us which pages get visited. That's the whole story.

What stays on your device

Account details you enter (name, email), XP, belt rank, streaks, session history, favorites, custom scenarios, and sound preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage. We cannot see them. Clearing site data deletes them permanently. Passwords entered on the demo sign-up form are never stored anywhere.

What leaves your device

Chat messages: when you send a message (typed or spoken), the conversation is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the persona's reply and your score. These requests are not used to build profiles of you.

Voice: speech-to-text and text-to-speech run inside your browser using its built-in speech engines. Depending on your browser, speech recognition may be processed by your browser vendor (e.g. Google for Chrome). We never receive or store audio recordings.

Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page-view data without cookies or cross-site tracking.

What we don't do

No ads, no selling data, no third-party trackers, no cookies for tracking, no profiles. If this ever changes, this policy changes first and loudly.

Data deletion

Account → Danger zone → “Delete all local data” wipes everything the app knows about you from your browser in one click.
